In the State of Arizona, vital records and recorded documents are not permitted for Certification by Copy. A certified copy is a copy (often a photocopy) of a primary document that has on it an endorsement or certificate that it is a true copy of the primary document. It does not certify that the primary document is genuine, only that it is a true copy of the primary document.

Clients who turn to us for Certification by Copy may have any document that is not a recorded document or a vital record preformed. When booking you will need to disclose in the Notes Section of your order that you are seeking Certification by Copy. You will need to have your document in hand and ready to be copied by the Notary. We suggest meeting your Notary at a Local Fedex where they will have access to a color copier.
